About INTEX
INTEX Program is an initiative of Impact Advisory to be facilitated with Ennovate hub as our Implementing partner. The INTEX program is aimed at providing sustainable solutions to the existing social problems around Agriculture, Education, Health, and WASH sectors. This program is designed to provide support to youth with innovative tech solutions that are addressing social problems, along with the selected sectors.
INTEX-Innovation Challenge Cohort 1.0
INTEX is a flagship program for Impact Advisory in partnership with Ennovate hub, it’s a platform for youth with innovative tech solutions to showcase their projects that are addressing social problems, with the ability to cushion the effects of COVID-19 along with the selected sectors: Agriculture, Education, Health, and WASH sector. 6 innovators will be pre-selected, trained, and mentored virtually with a chance to pitch their solutions during a virtual demo/pitch session in the presence of government and corporate representatives, international development organizations, and selected judges. Due to COVID-19 INTEX-Innovation Challenge Cohort 1.0 will be facilitated Virtually in all programs and when necessary physically during the Incubation period.
An opportunity to pitch to a virtual audience including Development Partners, corporates and other stakeholders who may be interested in supporting further the innovations.

Being a leading Corporate Company that Supports Innovation and Solves Social Problems in Tanzania.
OTHER OBJECTIVES
1. To increase the number of students in access to quality education using technology.
2. To increase the accessibility of health care services to Tanzanians in rural areas, that can also help fight against the pandemic and other critical healthcare challenges
3. To increase food availability across the agricultural value chain.
4. To promote employment.
5.To support Innovation in enterprise development.
Program Duration: 12months duration, 6 months of incubation with Ennovate and 6 months of Market Validation and Business development support with Impact Advisory and Ennovate hub.
Number of Startups: 6 startups were selected to join a 5days training and mentorship program and pitching. The awared startup, Shule Express recieved financial support from PwC to develop their technology and also joined a 6-month Incubation program with Ennovate Hub.
Application opens: 29th June 2020 and closes 9th July 2020.
Interviewing Pre-Selected Startups: 11th – 13th July 2020.
Announcement of selected startups: 17th July 2020
PROGRAM TIMELINE:
A mentorship program for pre-selected startups: 20th – 24th July 2020
Demo/Pitching day: 31st July 2020.
Announcement of the winning startups: 3rd August 2020.
Incubation Program starts: September 2020 – March 2021.
Market Validation and Business Development: April 2021 – September 2021.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Applying youth must be of age 18yr-35yrs old.
- Startup must have at least 2 team members.
- They must have worked on their Proposed solution at least 3months ( have a prototype.)
- Must reside in Tanzania and can participate in all programs Virtually and relocate to Dar es Salaam for the Incubation period when needed to.
- We would prefer startups to have individual cash flow to sustain their welfare during the Incubation period.
